One-to-one, over video

Forty-five minutes with your teacher, on a video call, built around whatever your body is actually doing this month — not a class you have to keep up with.

Prefer to be in the room? In-person sessions run in Melbourne, and in Brisbane from February 2027 — they are longer, and priced separately on the main site. The screening below applies either way.

Who you’ll be practising with

Your teacher is 200-hour trained (Bali, 2024), with 50-hour certifications in Yin and Aerial yoga and a Certificate IV in Fitness, teaching group classes, private one-to-ones and online sessions since 2024.

What this is not: a session is movement teaching, not healthcare. It is not physiotherapy, not a diagnosis, not treatment, and not a substitute for advice from your doctor or an allied health professional. If something hurts, we work around it or we stop — and if it needs someone qualified to assess it, you’ll be told so plainly.

Step 1

A few health questions, first

One-to-one teaching means a session built for your body, so it matters that I know what I’m building around. Seven questions, about a minute.

These follow the Adult Pre-Exercise Screening System (APSS), the Australian standard developed jointly by ESSA, Sports Medicine Australia and AUSactive. The wording here is mine, covering the same ground in plain English; the official form is on their site.

1. Has a doctor ever told you that you have a heart condition — or have you had a stroke?
2. Do you get pain or discomfort in your chest — at rest, or when you move?
3. Do you ever feel faint, dizzy, or lose your balance during exercise?
4. Have you had an asthma attack that needed immediate medical help in the last 12 months?
5. If you have diabetes — have you had trouble keeping your blood glucose steady in the last three months?
6. Has anyone told you that a muscle, bone or joint problem of yours could get worse with exercise?
7. Is there any other condition that might make exercise unsafe for you?

Nothing here that changes how we’d work

Go ahead and pick a time. Tell me on the day if anything has changed — bodies do.

Worth a word with your doctor

You answered yes to something that’s worth raising with your GP or an allied health professional before you start something new. That is a recommendation, not a refusal — plenty of people practise safely with exactly this on their file, and knowing about it is how I build the session properly.

Please get your doctor’s clearance first

Your answer points at your heart, your chest or your balance, and that is the one group where the right order is doctor first, mat second. I am a yoga teacher, not a clinician, and I am not qualified to decide this one for you.

Once you have been told it’s fine to exercise, come back and tick the box — or email me and we’ll work out something gentle in the meantime.

Step 2

What happens to those answers

Nothing you typed above has left this page. There is no form submission, no database and no analytics on this page. The answers live in your browser’s memory only, and closing the tab erases them.

Health information is sensitive, so it moves only if you move it. When you’re ready, the button below opens an email in your own mail app, filled in, for you to read and send — or not. You can also bring the answers to the session instead and tell me then.

Once I have them, they’re kept only as long as you’re practising with me, are never used for marketing, and are never shared. Ask me to delete them at any time and I will.

Pro + Coach Limited
Everything in Luka Pro, plus a 30-minute one-to-one check-in every month

Pro + Coach is limited to 100 members, because there is one teacher and a finite number of hours in a week.

Prices are in AUD and include GST. Sessions are booked and paid for separately from the app subscription.

The booking step opens once the questions above are answered.

Before you book

How the included session works

  • One 30-minute check-in a month, on the Pro + Coach plan. It appears at the start of each billing month. Want the full 45 minutes? Book a single session at the price above — members pay the same as everyone else.
  • Miss a month and it waits — you can hold two at once, so a busy month is not a lost one. A third does not stack up; that is deliberate, because twelve sessions landing in one week helps nobody.
  • Use it within 60 days of it appearing.
  • If you cancel, anything you have already earned stays bookable for 30 days.
  • It belongs to you — sessions are not transferable to another person or account.
  • Times are limited and real. There are only so many hours in a week, so sessions are subject to what is actually free in the calendar. If nothing suits, tell me and we will find something.
  • The plan is capped at 100 members. That is not a marketing device, it is arithmetic: 100 check-ins a month is already 50 hours of teaching. When it is full it says so, and you can join the waitlist.

Buying sessions outright, without a subscription, works too — the prices above are for exactly that.

Changing or cancelling

  • More than 24 hours before: move it or cancel it, no charge.
  • Inside 24 hours: the session is charged. One free late change a year, because life happens.
  • If I have to cancel: you choose a full refund or another time.
  • If you don’t turn up: I’ll wait on the call for 15 minutes, then the session is charged.

None of this limits your rights under the Australian Consumer Law, which you keep regardless of anything written here.

How I work, and where that stops

  • I teach movement and breath, and I build sessions around what your body will do today.
  • I don’t diagnose, treat, or manage a condition, and I don’t give medical, physiotherapy or dietary advice.
  • If something needs a professional I’m not, I’ll say so and stop — that’s the job, not a failure of it.
  • Nothing here prevents, cures or fixes anything. If you read a claim like that anywhere in my work, it’s a mistake and I want to know.

I carry professional indemnity and public liability insurance, and I work to the National Code of Conduct for health care workers who are not registered practitioners as it applies in my state.
